Job description
The candidate will come from a background of steel and/or architectural metalwork detailing, with 2-3 years of Technical Drawing Tekla 3D experience in architectural and structural steel detailing. The ability to work from own initiative and as part of the wider design team is essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Producing GA drawings, fabrication drawings, bolt & material lists, to programme, budget & specification.
- Carrying out drawing revisions in line with drawing office procedures.
- Conducting site surveys while wearing appropriate PPE and working safely in accordance with associated risk assessments.
- Liaising with the Project Manager regarding drawing budgets, approvals, and programme.
- Liaising with architects and engineers regarding details and queries.
