Tekla Designer

Singh & Jones are working with an innovative and forward Design Consultancy, who have a wealth of experience within design and engineering of SFS, Light Gauge Steel Framing, Structural Steelwork (Hot Rolled) and Modular Build projects across the UK.

The Tekla Designer - (hybrid) role will report directly to the Design Manager and your duties will include;

• The Tekla Designer, who can be based from the office and home, will produce Tekla GA models from client’s drawings for the production of preliminary material lists, fabrication and fitting drawings.
• In addition to this, the right candidate will be adept in producing modular volumetric designs.
• Ensure that all models and drawings are delivered in line with project fabrication programme.
• Check your own work to ensure all modelling and drawings are produced to the highest of standards and quality.
• Attend Site Surveys.
• Work as part of a team and provide support to other members of the Drawing Office and other departments as required for the successful delivery of projects.
• Managing and mentoring junior designers.
