Recruitment Consultant Technology Permanent Market

Hays City Technology focuses on 6 core technology centric markets that are at the forefront of the longstanding constant technical evolution: Data, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud and DevOps, Software Development, Projects and Change within Central London. We are looking to continue to build our team with experienced consultants who have an interest in Technology and would like to develop their career within the Technology sector.

The Permanent Technology team is a long-established team that focuses on clients within the Financial Services industry, as well as Commerce and Industry, such as Insurance, Consultancy, and Legal. Based in the Flagship London Cheapside office, the team has been operating in the Tech market for many years, resulting in a wealth of long-term sustainable relationships with both clients and candidates, which you will look to capitalize and build upon. In line with existing client relationships, we are constantly looking to develop new and fresh relationships with new clients. You will be required to develop these relationships as they will be integral to your desk growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network within the relevant Technical Community and ecosystem to develop strong relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Build a candidate community.
  • Promote your personal brand as well as Hays as a leading Recruiter within your field.
  • Generate, identify, and act upon prospective business leads.
  • Source and screen high-quality permanent candidates.
  • Own and complete all tasks associated with the end-to-end recruitment of a permanent recruitment professional, including winning new business/logos, negotiating terms, delivering appropriate talent, and closing deals with clients and candidates.
  • Provide excellent service and aftercare while achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A proven track record of billings.
  • Desire for success and self-motivation.
  • An inquisitive nature.
  • Experience consulting with customers, both clients and candidates, and influencing where necessary.
  • An ability to stand out from the crowd and a resilient approach to sales.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and a highly self-motivated attitude.
  • An ethical, professional, and organized approach to recruitment.
