Working with a variety of partners, the New Supply team has a key role in guiding this regeneration towards sustainable development. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the planning and delivery of the council's new supply programme which aims to deliver 5,000 new homes by 2035.
As a Technician (Quantity Surveying), you will join the New Supply team where you will be based in our corporate office in Motherwell but will operate under our hybrid model of office and home-based working with an expectation to travel to council facilities and sites across North Lanarkshire as required, and support the procurement and delivery of the council's new build programme.
This post represents an exciting and challenging opportunity for a highly motivated individual who has a Degree in Quantity Surveying and has significant experience in the design and construction industry.
With a professional manner and excellent communication skills, you should be IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages. Knowledge of current design and construction legislation and trends/practices/technologies is desirable.

Monday to Thursday - 08.45 - 16.45

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
