An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable, punctual, experienced vehicle Technician / MOT tester to join our friendly, busy team at our SEAT & Mazda dealership in Middlesbrough.

Salary negotiable depending on experience and skill set.

Very attractive bonus scheme on offer.

OTE £35000

Main Duties

1. Servicing vehicles
2. Repairing vehicles
3. Using tools and computer software to diagnose and repair vehicles

Essential Skills:

Day-to-day duties

1. Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
2. Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment.
3. Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.
4. Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing.
5. Road testing vehicles to check repairs.
6. Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition.
7. Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed.
8. Completing all documentation to the required standard.
