Candidate Requirements:

1. Sufficient experience within the lift industry as a qualified installation or maintenance engineer (NVQ3 or similar)
2. Extensive product knowledge, sufficient electrical and mechanical skills to perform the required tasks and be familiar with the use of field tools
3. Practical and theoretical knowledge of safety components, safety relevant subsystems, system related safety issues/hazards, relevant codes, and standards, and in accessing technical or code related documentation
4. Trained and certified as a SAIS inspector in accordance with Group procedures
5. NVQ4 qualified in testing lifts (both new and existing equipment) or be working towards this qualification
