Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Location: Cardiff

Remuneration: £26,000 - £35,000 + discretionary bonus

The Role

The Technical Support Engineer will involve:

Producing designs for a range of structural waterproofing and gas protection systems
Receiving and interpreting client briefs on projects and requirements at early tender stage
Undertaking 2D & 3D AutoCAD product design for large projects with tier 1 contractors
Working closely with the technical manager and alongside the sales team to offer technical support around requirements
Producing designs to fit the brief and plan visuals
Prioritising workload to meet company deadlines
Meeting with clients once per week after initial training
Working on order values ranging from £20k to £250k

Ideal Applicant

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Support Engineer with:

Technical mindset and AutoCAD experience
Some working experience within the construction industry, dealing with gas membranes and structural waterproofing systems
CSSW qualification (highly advantageous)
Charismatic, personable, professional, and confident demeanor
Highly organized with good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
