Technical Support Engineer

Technical Support Engineer - 3 months Contract - GBP220/day via umbrella company - Barrow in Furness (onsite) - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Technical Support Engineer to provide additional onsite support within the existing AV Team. You will work collaboratively with the current technical team on conferences and events.

Your responsibilities as a Technical Support Engineer:

• Support the existing service, installation, and conference teams onsite.
• Set up audio-visual equipment for onsite meetings.
• Conduct meeting room checks to ensure all equipment functions correctly.
• Fault finding and resolution of AV/VC problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues alongside the Installation Engineers, helping out with the requirements.
• Report and maintain conference equipment.
• Work in a team of two with the current on-site conference technician.
• Maintain close working relationships with internal teams and other technicians.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.

As a suitable Technical Support Engineer, you will have:

• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good all-round AV/events background.
• Availability to work out of hours for overtime.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, from C-suite down.
• Active SC Clearance.
