As Technical Support Chemist, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Troubleshooting production issues, providing 1st and 2nd line support for both employees and customers offering both analytical and written assistance.
• Resolving customer issues with active products, including interference research, sample matrix identification, and application knowledge deployment.
• The maintenance and development of chemistry products for specific customer needs.
• Assisting in maintaining the company’s wet laboratory and identifying areas for improvement.
• Providing training and guidance to laboratory and technical support staff, as well as the sales team.

We are keen to speak to people about this Technical Support Chemist opportunity who have the following skills and experience:

• Degree qualification (or equivalent) in a Chemistry related subject.
• Knowledge of spectrophotometry.
• Experience with techniques such as titration, colorimetry, gravimetry, pH tests, ash analysis, and/or wafer cleaning.
• Application knowledge in quality control.
• Proficiency in Office 365.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations including SVHC and changes to hazard classification.

In return, you will receive a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 pa.
