Location: St Vincent Crescent, Glasgow

Full Time / Permanent
Salary from £32,240 per year + excellent benefits package

The role

In this Technical Support role, you provide business support across all activities within the zone and will be responsible for administration support to District operational, Connections and HV Faults activities, including time writing and District management reporting KPI's.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage all correspondence and communication within the business
  2. Ensure that all customer contacts are dealt with in accordance with relevant processes
  3. Provide administration and management support within all areas of the business
  4. Assist in the building of the weekly work programme with District staff and Team Leaders
  5. Supporting the weekly and daily maintenance of the resource plan and work programme
  6. Production and delivery of reports and management information within agreed timescales
  7. Liaison with external suppliers and other business areas, including printing and collation of information to assist in the generation of work packs
  8. Contribute as an effective team member of District team
  9. Ensure quality standards are maintained in all activities performed
  10. Ensure awareness of and comply with Company Health, Safety and Environmental requirements on particular issues as they arise
  11. Comply with appropriate safety equipment as required

What you will bring

  1. Planning and Organising skills
  2. Excellent communication skills
  3. Significant all-round administrative experience
  4. Able to operate at all levels of the business
  5. Working knowledge of Business IT systems
  6. Working knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures and working practices
  7. Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation
  8. Developed negotiation, communication and people management skills
  9. Developed Customer Service skills
  10. Familiarity with MS suite of systems
  11. Knowledge of the Asset Inspection System (AIS)
  12. Knowledge of SAP system
  13. Knowledge of Cintellate system
  14. Knowledge of ENPaRT scheduling system

Minimum Criteria

  1. Experience in a multi-stranded project support/co-ordination role or significant equivalent experience
  2. PC literate - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  3. Experience in SAP, CCT and IRIS systems
  4. General knowledge of the Operations, Maintenance and Construction Businesses activities
  5. Educated to GCSE or equivalent standard
  6. Computer literacy - e.g. Microsoft Office suite
