This post provides a unique opportunity to join the pharmacy aseptic team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (Eastern) initially on an 18 months fixed term contract and carry out manual, technical and distribution duties in line with Good Manufacturing Practice and the department's own operating guidelines. The successful candidates will be strong team players with the desire to learn and an eye for detail. The nature of the work can be repetitive but requires full concentration for the whole process. Flexibility is also required as the post holder may be required to work on several different tasks in one day and to flex their start and finish times to fit in with service user plans and meet delivery schedules.
Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, Wonford. Requirement to participate in 7 day working to include late duties, bank holidays and weekend working.
We are looking for an innovative and experienced SMT, STP or pharmacy technician to join our team. This role provides extensive opportunities to develop within a specialist role in a supportive environment with comprehensive training. You must be highly self-motivated, able to demonstrate leadership skills and have the ability to plan and work both independently and as part of the wider healthcare team to deliver excellent pharmaceutical care to our patients.
