I'm delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a business in Manchester who are in need of a Technical Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and motivate the Technical Services team to achieve excellence.
2. Ensure compliance with customer through gap analysis and effective communication.
3. Oversee Quality Management Systems and internal audits, ensuring non-conformances are addressed promptly.
4. Play a key role in external audits, supporting the Quality Managers and wider team.
5. Manage complaints and non-conformance systems to identify trends and drive improvements.
6. Support raw materials management, including risk assessments and compliance monitoring.
7. Maintain accurate customer specifications and artwork approvals.
8. Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

1. Proven experience in a technical or quality-focused management role, within the food industry.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
3. Expertise in quality management systems, internal auditing, and compliance processes.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. A detail-oriented approach, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
