Overview:
We are partnering with an established organization in Hull to find a skilled and results-driven Technical Services Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals, driving technical solutions and enhancing service delivery in a dynamic and growing environment.


Summary:
As the Technical Services Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day technical operations and support services across the business. You will manage a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing strategic guidance to improve efficiency. This role is ideal for a strong leader with a background in technical service management, who thrives in a fast-paced, solution-oriented setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, develop, and manage a technical services team to provide effective support and solutions.
  2. Ensure the delivery of exceptional service to clients and internal stakeholders.
  3. Identify opportunities for process improvements, optimizing efficiency and service quality.
  4. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical systems.
  5. Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  6. Develop and execute strategies to improve technical performance and meet service-level agreements (SLAs).

The Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager or in a senior technical role.
  2. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.
  3. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to resolving technical challenges.
  4. Expertise in managing service delivery, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
  5. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  6. Knowledge of industry-specific technologies and best practices.
  7. A relevant technical qualification or background is highly desirable.
