Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to develop our technical resource aligned against one of our corporate and retail banking clients, with their estate consisting of a retail branch network and a small number of corporate, critical facilities.

Here, you will be the Technical Authority of the Account, ensuring the Engineering service as a whole is compliant, robust, safe, and effective. This role best suits a Technical Lead more interested in the Engineering Governance side, and is able to pass AP qualification (Electrical).

Working with site engineering teams, site managers, a central mobile engineering division, and the end client, you will drive through a cutting-edge engineering strategy.

As the customer is a financial services company, this account is highly corporate and best suits a credible Technical Lead comfortable in a customer-facing capacity.

This is a fantastic role for a developing Technical Lead to grow into the corporate engineering world within FM.

Further actions will include:
  • Ensure Engineering teams are working to SSoWs.
  • Reviewing PPM regimes.
  • Support and lead account technical leadership to be responsible for the leadership of all resources involved in the delivery of Technical Services (e.g., recruitment, ethics, performance assessment, personal development, personal wellbeing, etc.), driving company standing as employer of choice.
  • Be the single point of contact for technical service delivery on the site and as the escalation point for the appointed client stakeholder(s) for the Account.
  • Implement and manage the change control process.
  • Ensure there is an end-to-end asset lifecycle plan & process in place for the client.
  • Support the development, execution, and leadership to technicians and Engineers to site level Engineering.
We need from you:
  • Mechanical or Electrical qualification, with clear experience within Building Services Engineering, and time spent in a leadership role.
