Job Description

Join our cutting-edge cyber security team within Grant Thornton. As a Technical Delivery Manager focused on Security Project Management within our client success team, you'll play a critical role in supporting and implementing our managed security services offerings.

In this role you will work in conjunction with the Managed Security Services, technical, success, sales and leadership teams. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about working for Grant Thornton.

A look into the role

As a Technical Security Delivery Manager within our Cyber Defence Centre, you will:

• Act as a primary technical liaison between the client and delivery teams.
• Onboard new customers, ensuring they fully utilise the capabilities of our managed security services.
• Translate complex technical issues into understandable business language for C-suite executives.
• Participate in technical meetings to share best practices and new technologies.
• Understand client needs around compliance and align them with our existing solutions.
• Participate in workshopping calls, capture the requirements, track and create project plans and ensure all agreed activities are delivered through to completion.
• Document audit-based requirements and solve questions customers may have.
• Work with various stakeholders to ensure projects are managed from inception to delivery.
• Create and deliver onboarding and technical project plans.
• Ensure customers are informed of the project plan and communicated with reiteratively.
• Manage multiple security projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Technical Security Delivery Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is experience of working on cyber security implementations and project management. It would be great if you had some of the following skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to present technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical audiences.
• Strong customer service skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to solve problems.
• Proficiency in project management and collaboration software.
• Understanding of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and understanding of security principles.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CCSP are desirable.
