Technical Sales Support

The Role

Supporting the Area Technical Sales Managers, your role is to help with the sale of the company's manufactured range of specialist flat roofing solutions.

Field/home based covering South London, Kent, Surrey, and East Sussex.

Our client sells into a mix of Architects, Specifiers, End Users/Building Owners, Local Authorities, Main Contractors, and Approved Contractors. Projects will be a mix of refurbishment and new build.

Responsibilities include:

1. Utilising Company database to glean information.
2. Travel to various sites within territory to undertake site surveys to identify the existing roof condition and construction.
3. Conducting site measurements.
4. Production of roof-plans and detailed drawings.
5. Taking site photographs.
6. Undertaking core samples.
7. Undertaking moisture mapping surveys (post training).
8. Assisting with the management of certain roofing projects, liaising with the client, Main Contractor, and approved Contractors, and attending pre-start and progress meetings.
9. Assisting with the investigation of post-completion issues.

We are looking for someone who is:

1. Technically minded/focused.
2. Experienced in the construction sector.
3. Strong access to patch - Surrey/South London/Kent.
4. Possesses great presentation skills.
5. A genuine people person/relationship builder.
