The Company
My client is a well-known and leading manufacturer of light to medium machines supplying directly into industries such as Food, Medical and Building Materials which is part of a £500m group.
Due to the retirement of their long-serving Sales Manager, there is now a rare opportunity for a skilled Sales Manager to take over a well-established sales department, and a huge opportunity to grow and develop some exciting client relationships.
The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, driven individual looking for a challenging and rewarding Sales Management role. With current revenue at c£700k annually, it will be your job to source and convert new business opportunities by utilising either established market knowledge or sales acumen.
You will conduct proactive, key account management and prospecting of all existing and new clients, looking for cross-selling opportunities within the product range. The role will be a 50/50 mix of new business development and existing customer relationship building.
Alongside building relationships with end customers, the successful Sales Manager will focus on identifying and building relationships with key distributors to increase sales revenues.
