Job Description:

We're delighted to be working with one of the UK's specialist engineering firms, seeking to employ a driven and motivated Technical Sales Specialist.

You will help to maintain and secure new and existing business from across the South of the UK, focusing on high-growth customers within chemical, pharma, scientific, and energy sectors. Engineering experience in any market would be considered, and the ability to learn new skills whilst in the role is essential.

You should ideally have experience writing proposals and visiting clients, and be confident in selling to senior management and technically focused decision-makers. While a fair proportion of this role will involve managing existing accounts, we require someone who is motivated to generate new business. A strong technical focus, along with the ability to understand client needs through effective communication skills, is necessary.

Working from home, you will need a driver's license and a minimum of 4 years of experience in an engineering or technical sales background. A degree is not required, and we welcome applications from candidates with varying levels of experience, as the role could also suit a more experienced candidate seeking a home-based opportunity.
