Our clients are a well-established Air Conditioning partner in the UK FM sector.

Due to growth in the business, they are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to cover the Midlands area.

Our client specializes in the installation and bespoke design of HVAC systems and solutions. JOB PURPOSE

You will play a crucial role in driving sales by combining technical expertise with effective communication skills. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, presenting tailored Industrial Cooler & Heat Pump Systems Solutions, and ensuring a seamless transition from sales to implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of air conditioning systems, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  1. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Cooltherm's air conditioning product line and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of client requirements, understanding technical specifications and translating them into viable solutions.
  3. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations, highlighting the technical features and benefits of the company's air conditioning solutions.
  4. Collaborate with clients to customize air conditioning solutions to meet their specific needs, incorporating technical details into tailored proposals.
  5. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to clients with varying levels of technical understanding, ensuring clarity and building confidence in the company's solutions.
  6. Work closely with the project and application teams to align technical solutions with client expectations, contributing to a cohesive and successful sales strategy.
  7. Ensure a smooth transition from the sales phase to project implementation, collaborating with the project delivery team and providing necessary technical insights and information to enable successful completion.
  8. Stay informed about competitors' products and technologies, leveraging this knowledge to position the company's solutions as superior in the market.
  9. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing technical support and acting as a trusted advisor for their air conditioning needs.
  10. Adapt sales techniques to engage with clients face-to-face and remotely, utilizing digital tools and communication channels effectively.
  11. Provide accurate forecasting of new and future business. Use CRM and other internal systems to provide accurate data to enable the business to track customer and sales activity.
