Technical Sales Professional

BelkavitzSloan is seeking a Technical Sales Professional for the UK North & Scotland Region. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for fire protection and Building Management Systems (BMS) products and solutions. This involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process. This is a field-based position, involving travel to customer sites within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UK North & Scotland Region, specifically targeting reactive quotes and service project opportunities outside of the existing customer base.
  • Support the sales of service contracts to new customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver compelling sales proposals.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal colleagues throughout the sales process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to effectively position our products and solutions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical sales or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of fire protection and/or Building Management Systems products and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
