Technical Sales Engineer
Midlands region (Office/Field based covering the Midlands)

The Company
Labquip NDT are distributors of non-destructive testing (NDT) and elemental analysis equipment and products.
Having achieved ISO 9001 certification in 2021, we are on the fast-track to success with our operations expanding and our exciting new Labino Apollo 2.0 lab, the first in the UK and only the eighth in the world.

We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, working 39 hours per week over five days.

The Role
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will create sales opportunities for our specialist portable NDT equipment with businesses across the Midlands.
You will develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers, delivering product demonstrations, providing technical consultation, and identifying growth opportunities within the market.

Additionally, you will:
  1. Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio and its applications
  2. Provide expert sales and technical support to both new and existing customers
  3. Manage your own schedule
  4. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and expand accounts

About You
To be considered as a Technical Sales Engineer, you will need:
  1. At least two years’ experience in a technical sales or engineering role
  2. Knowledge of material science and/or NDT equipment
  3. Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in CRM/ERP systems
