Technical Sales Engineer/CNC - East Midlands - £40,000 + Commission (Field Sales)

A very successful company within the engineering/cutting tools sector are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen its team on a permanent basis covering the East Midlands region.

The ideal Technical Sales Engineer will have:

1. Hands-on CNC engineering experience / technical background
2. Demonstrable experience in technical sales roles, showcasing a track record of sales growth and maximizing existing opportunities.
3. Exceptional communication skills
4. Proficiency in MS Office packages
5. A consultative approach and a genuine desire to help provide clients with a better solution.

The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for:

1. Supporting the sales function by proactively visiting clients to identify needs and generate new orders and promoting cutting tools.
2. Supplying technical solutions
3. Suggesting process improvements, cost reductions, and lean principles by utilizing the company's products.
4. Consulting with clients to recommend the right tools and equipment.
5. Travelling to customer sites daily/field sales
6. Building relationships and growing business with existing clients in the cutting tools industry.
7. Promoting the company's product range
8. Working with other internal and external sales teams

In return, the Technical Sales Engineer will receive:
