Having supplied key construction projects both in the UK and Internationally with their expert cable solutions, it is a brilliant time to join as the company continues their ambitious growth plans.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for the early engineering of key projects to ensure best solution is offered. The successful candidate will ideally hold an Electrical Engineering qualification and a natural ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate full understanding of the client requirements at tender stage
Formally oversee bid from a technical point of view
Develop detailed technical proposals and quotations, including scope of work, pricing, and implementation timelines
Act as a key point of contact between commercial and project delivery team, ensuring deadlines are met
Assist with all technical queries for clients and colleagues at pre-order and post-sales stages
Regular client visits to ensure needs are understood and system selection is tailored expertly
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge
Key Criteria
Hold an Electrical Engineering qualification
Demonstrable experience in a technical role within the construction industry
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs
