Job Title: Technical Quality Team Leader

The company
My client, a highly esteemed food manufacturing PLC situated close to Knaresborough, is searching for a Technical Quality Team Leader. Known for a sumptuous range of premium offerings, this business boasts a fleet of well-invested manufacturing facilities spanning the UK. Their commitment to quality is matched only by their commitment to their team.

The role
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for their first step into Management. Reporting to the Shift Technical Manager, managing a team of 6, you will monitor, control and audit the production process ensuring that conformity and non-conformity are communicated, followed up and closed off. You will investigate any food safety incidents applying root cause analysis and ensure that the day-to-day site technical function is achieved. Supporting the site management team during any external accreditation such as BRC and my client's manufacturing standards and ensuring that the site production is supported during the launch of any new product line.

The person
Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, along with the confidence to challenge with a proactive and 'can do' attitude, be a team player and an effective communicator with strong PC skills. Food experience in a technical or similar type role would be advantageous and you will hold a HACCP qualification or a food safety qualification.
