What’s the Opportunity
As a Senior Cx Technical Project Manager at Ridge, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. You will gain vast industry experience that will open doors for you, extend your skillset and expand your perspective. We will empower, support, and enable you to take real responsibility in your role so that you can take charge of your career progression with us. For us, lasting trusted relationships are everything, both with our teams and our clients.
The purpose of this role is to provide coordination, monitoring, and support services to facilitate the successful commissioning of systems. The primary objectives are to ensure timely resolution of issues, support knowledge transfer to operations teams, and maintain seamless coordination among all stakeholders in the commissioning process. The CxM’s role is to oversee and drive progress without supplanting the CxA’s responsibility for independent verification and final sign-off of systems performance.
Drive the complete commissioning process forwards on behalf of the Client, providing weekly Commissioning Management Reports to update the Client CxA and the Contractor on effectiveness of the commissioning practices and processes in place and to drive continual improvement. The reports will highlight and prioritise issues (both technical and logistical) for resolution to ensure commissioning continuity without assuming the CxA’s responsibility for verifying performance.
Engage with the operations team at the earliest possible stage to assess training requirements, managing the training programme to ensure effective knowledge transfer. This includes coordinating training with specialist subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery aligned with the handover process, and facilitating knowledge transfer in line with the facility's design and operational parameters. The CxA will validate the content and effectiveness of the training.
Collaborate with the Client, Contractor and CxA to review the commissioning programme, verifying that tests are scheduled reasonably and that necessary resources are allocated. The CxM will liaise with all parties to pre-empt issues and ensure readiness for mechanical, electrical, and other testing as required. Coordination will be maintained by the CxM to avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure all required resources; human, power, equipment, water (where applicable) are available as well as ensuring all relevant approvals are in place.
Be responsible for ensuring that contractors upload required data and documentation to the Clients document platform, implementing and agreeing the protocols for this activity with the Contractor, CxA, Client and Tenant. This includes ensuring that the IRL and other commissioning documentation are updated and auditable and the verification of regular back-ups of information stored on the document portal are successful. The CxA retains responsibility for reviewing and approving all uploaded documentation.
