Job description

Blue Dot Games is seeking an experienced UE5 technical programmer to join a multi-disciplinary team of coders working on the title ’83 ( https://83thegame.com). We are a small, friendly and ambitious team with big plans. Could you be part of these plans?

A successful applicant for this role will have experience of optimising replication and server load for large-scale multiplayer games.

The candidate will be experienced in using replication graphs and, ideally, IRIS. The candidate will have a track record of creating clean, network optimised code for gameplay mechanics in Unreal Engine, and of adopting an analytical approach to the whole area of optimisation.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable and extensive experience of working on released titles in UE4+.

The ability to work on DevOps is a considerable plus to any application we receive.

The team will be remote, so effective communication skills in an all-remote setting are required.
