Purpose of the Role
Join the Product Security team as a Technical Manager for Product Security, where you'll take ownership of end-to-end security expertise, ensuring robust security features across the entire product landscape. Reporting into the Vehicle Cyber Security Manager your main responsibilities include;

• Leading and managing the rollout of automotive security functions (IDS, SOK, VKMS) in R&D projects.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO21434 standards and other relevant security regulations (e.g. R155, GB44495-2024).
• Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets for security features.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures.
• Providing technical guidance and support on product security countermeasures.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices within the organization.

Sitting within Electronic Engineering in R&D at Bentley, the vision of the Connected Car team is to provide our customers with a range of features and services that make their Bentley relationship the most rewarding, convenient and magical connected experience by integrating the vehicle into their personal ecosystem and meeting the Beyond100 strategy.

About you - Skills and Experience

• Strong experience with automotive security standards and legislations (all regions for example: GB44495, ISO/SAE21434, UNECE WP29/R155, GDPR, Data security).
• Proven experience in technical project management, particularly in planning and rolling out security functions.
• Technical knowledge of product security countermeasures, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Secure Onboard Communication (SOK), and Vehicle Key Management Systems (VKMS) and TLS etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Software/Programming knowledge (C, C++).
• Encryption algorithms knowledge.
• Good presentation skills.
• Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility.
• Engineering degree or equivalent is essential.
