Senior Technical Manager - Residential RC Frame Project (Stratford, East London)

An experienced Senior Technical / Design Manager is required to take the technical lead on a single, high-profile residential RC frame development in Stratford, East London. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in concrete frame buildings and residential construction, overseeing technical aspects and managing external consultants to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leads the technical and design coordination for a major RC frame residential project.
• Oversees all design management processes, ensuring compliance with planning and regulatory requirements.
• Manages and coordinates external consultants, including architects, structural engineers, and MEP specialists.
• Reviews and ensures technical accuracy of all design documentation before approval.
• Works closely with the construction team to resolve design issues and optimise buildability.
• Ensures that all designs align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Liaises with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with planning approvals and building regulations.
• Provides technical guidance and leadership to the wider project team.
• Leads design risk assessments and mitigates potential technical challenges.
• Reviews subcontractor designs and ensures integration with the overall project strategy.
• Manages the flow of technical information between all relevant parties.
• Ensures strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Supports value engineering exercises to optimise project efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs.
• Keeps up to date with industry developments and best practices in RC frame construction.
• Represents the project in technical meetings and liaises with key stakeholders.
