Remuneration: £55,000 - £60,000

The role of the Technical Manager - HVAC Systems will involve:

1. Dealing with a range of manufactured air conditioning systems, ASHP's and chillers
2. Offering technical design and application assistance to customers and internal staff
3. Providing technical advice and support with queries as required
4. Assisting the sales team with detailed quotations and project-specific information
5. Keeping up to date with the technicalities of the full product range
6. Liaising with Regional Sales Manager and National Technical Manager on new product development, design changes and service
7. Managing the project database, maintaining standards and effectiveness of quotations
8. Conducting training presentations to AC contractors and specifying consultants
9. Increasing the quality and effectiveness of the design team, regularly monitoring service levels
10. Managing circa 5 direct reports (3x Applications Engineers & 2x Sales Administrators)

The ideal applicant will have:

1. Design/Application experience within the HVAC market sector
2. Sound technical understanding of air conditioning, heat pump, ancillaries and refrigeration systems
3. People management/team leader experience
4. Kerridge K8 ERP software experience (ideally)
5. City & Guilds qualification in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration (ideally)
6. Mechanical Engineering qualification (ideally)
7. Excellent communication skills across all levels, both written and verbal
8. A strong work ethic and readiness to engage
9. High levels of organisation
10. Ambition to build a career
11. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
