Technical Manager Overview

A highly successful fashion company are keen to find an experience Technical Manager to join their dynamic team.

The Technical Manager will oversee a team of Garment Technologists and work on multi products across Ladieswear, Menswear and Childrenswear.

Technical Manager Responsibilities

• Lead internal fit sessions, before attending customer fit sessions
• Make fit comments and regularly feed these back to factories overseas
• Liaise with, and visit, factories in the Far East
• Measure and grade garments and oversee the sample process.
• Manage the workloads of more junior team members
• Work closely with internal merchandisers to achieve critical path deadlines and complete QA inspections on garments against test reports to ensure goods comply with British standard requirements.
• Create initial specifications

Additional Information

The Technical Manager must have previous experience in a similar role and have an exceptional eye for technical detail, with excellent organisation, communication, and prioritization skills.
