Join a forward-thinking organisation that's redefining technical delivery in construction. Here, your expertise will support major projects across multiple sectors, with a strong focus on pre-construction and de-risking strategies.

What You'll Be Doing

As a senior member of the Technical Management team, you'll lead from the front in the planning and delivery of robust technical solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading the technical strategy and overseeing technical deliverables across multiple MEP projects (valued £5M-£50M).
  2. Managing design risk, co-ordination, compliance, and technical quality from pre-construction through delivery.
  3. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders - including bid, commercial and operations teams, clients, consultants, and manufacturers.
  4. Ensuring all works align with regulatory requirements including CDM, Building Safety Act, and relevant technical standards.
  5. Supporting the transition to digital engineering and contributing to Net Zero and sustainability objectives.
  6. Providing leadership and mentorship to technical teams and consultants.
What We're Looking For

We want someone with a passion for complex design, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to make a difference through innovation and accountability.

Qualifications:
  1. BEng/MEng or MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related Building Services discipline).
  2. Chartered or Incorporated status (or working towards) with CIBSE, IET, IMechE, or similar.
Experience:
  1. At least 10 years in building services engineering, with experience in sectors like healthcare, commercial, leisure, or MOD/MOJ.
  2. Proven ability to lead technical elements of MEP projects valued at £5M-£50M.
Key Skills:
  1. Deep knowledge of RIBA and BSRIA design frameworks.
  2. Strong understanding of technical risk management, value engineering, compliance, and digital engineering platforms (Revit, Navisworks, Asite, etc.).
  3. Commercial awareness, with experience aligning technical scope with contract requirements.
Why Join?
  1. Be part of a national technical community driving excellence and innovation.
  2. Contribute to cutting-edge projects with a focus on sustainability, digital transformation, and client collaboration.
  3. Grow with leadership support, career development, and exposure to major projects across multiple sectors.
