Technical Insurance Manager

We are recruiting for a Technical Insurance Manager for our Global Insurance Experts based in Cheltenham.

The role will require:

Technical Insurance Knowledge:

1. Technical insurance knowledge as you will have your own case load.

Leadership Skills:

1. Set objectives and priorities within the team, agreed with Operations Manager, ensuring alignment with business goals.
2. Maintain effective working relationships with management of other functions in Cheltenham to ensure aligned communication and culture.
3. Work with the management team to ensure a 'one team' culture is lived every day, focusing on results and client service through performance and resilience.
4. Ensure that the progression framework is interpreted and implemented consistently, maximizing colleague potential.
5. Support, advise and provide specialist guidance and technical support to team members on any issues or development opportunities, acting as a mentor/coach.
6. Use pertinent MI to monitor, review and evaluate the performance of individuals and the team.
7. Delegate responsibilities and decisions to help empower people and teams.
8. Responsible for the performance of the team, acting as a first point of escalation.
