Candidate: Technical Engineer within automation in the food and beverage, automotive, water treatment or life science industries working with Tier 1 end user clients, tier 1 suppliers, channel partners, OEMs, machine builders and system integrators.
An exciting Technical Engineer position helping to ensure the continued growth of a highly successful region by offering technical support to a number of key accounts, including Tier 1 end users and channel partners such as OEMs, machine builders and system integrators. This technical support will include specification, training and some troubleshooting across all automation verticals namely food and beverage, automotive, water treatment or life sciences. You will also have the opportunity to choose a technical product specialism that fits with your experience and background with the view to becoming the company expert.
You must be an Automation Engineer ideally working for an automation manufacturer in automotive, food and beverage, life sciences and water treatment. Please still apply if you have worked for an automation distributor, OEM, systems integrator or machine builder and if you have technically advised on other automation verticals such as energy (e.g. smart energy, battery technology, smart buildings and data centres). The automation technology can be fixed, flexible or programmable and products of interest are robotics, M2M, IOT, drives, motors, servos, PLCs, SCADA, industrial computers and power distribution. However, please still apply if you have been technically supporting other forms of automation technology into the previously mentioned verticals of interest.

Technical Engineers within the team have strong automation backgrounds in one or more industry verticals but all are able to help specify, train and troubleshoot across all automation products and industries through close collaboration with other Technical Engineer Team members, Service Engineers, Technical Support, Technical Helpdesk and Product Managers.
