Technical Engineer Commissioner

To ensure Inca products are built to the required safety and quality standards, perform electrical testing and commission the product using safe systems of work, completing the sign-off process in accordance with the manufacturing schedule.

• Commission Inca products to the required processes, safety, and quality standards, undertaking testing and adjustments and completing the signing-off processes.
• Lead by example in ensuring safe systems of work and thorough due process at all times.
• Provide support to Electro-Mechanical Technician colleagues in the product build process as dictated by the manufacturing schedule.
• Test and maintain Inca products on behalf of R&D, providing feedback to help develop and improve the new and existing product range.
• Install products on customer sites with Installation Teams, providing technical assistance to the Customer Support Department (occasional overseas travel).
• Train less experienced colleagues in electrical commissioning techniques to required safety and quality standards.
• Become familiar with, uphold, and adhere to the Company and Parent Company processes, policies, and procedures.

Knowledge and Experience:

• 18th Edition minimum and ideally HNC in Electrical Engineering plus the required technical knowledge and practical experience to support the qualification.
• Broad base of engineering skills, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic.
• Ideally proven track record of working with various PLC systems.
• Ideally qualified in low voltage applications, including fault finding.
• Ideally PCB test experience.
• Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
