Purpose of the RoleWe’re looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to join us on a 14-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. This hybrid role blends agile delivery leadership with hands-on technical acumen.
You’ll lead a multi-disciplined software team, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable software using Agile methodologies. While not expected to code, your technical background enables effective conversations with architects, engineers, and stakeholders, bringing clarity, coordination, and confidence to every sprint.
You’ll report to the Development Director and work closely with product owners, tech leads, and other delivery leads across the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Delivery
Team Leadership & People Management
Experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or Technical Delivery Manager
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
Background in software development or engineering (e.g. ex-developer or tech lead)
Able to engage in technical discussions—comfortable with architecture, cloud (AWS), and deployment concepts
Strong stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and delivery focus
Experience with people leadership and performance management
Comfortable managing dependencies across multiple teams and release cycles.
