Technical Consultant - Workplace Productivity & Innovation

We have an amazing new opportunity for a Workplace Technical Consultant to join the Digital Workplace department in our Core IT division.

This role sits under the Head of Productivity & Innovation in the Digital Workplace Technology team. We're looking for someone technically savvy, quick to pick things up, and experienced in Workplace tech like O365, Azure, Exchange, Print, and Meeting Rooms, plus, a good grasp of security policies. Bonus points if you've dabbled in AI tools like Copilot!

Your job? Spot opportunities to improve our existing tools and dream up fresh, innovative ideas to boost productivity across Virgin Media O2. Strong communication skills are key, as you'll be working closely with leadership and strategic partners to take ideas from concept to reality. As a Productivity & Innovation Consultant, your focus will be making work simpler, more efficient, and a whole lot better for our teams. You'll collaborate with different departments, ensuring our tech not only meets business needs but also creates a great work environment that aligns with our mission.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Previous demonstrable experience in a similar Workplace Technical Consultant role where you have a proven track record of boosting productivity with top-notch tech
  • Experience with smart building tech like meeting rooms, booking systems, and other cool, creative ways to enhance the Digital Workplace
  • Strong hands-on experience with O365, from managing admin tasks to rolling out new features and services
  • Experienced in taking projects from idea to launch, while also handling third-party suppliers and vendors
  • Proven track record of boosting security in Digital Workplace services while also keeping project budgets in check
The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Experience in staying on top of security compliance, making sure we meet VMO2 standards like SOX, ISO accreditation, Cyber Essentials, and internal audits
  • Experience in using data and analytics to check how well our workplace tech is working and make smart, data-driven decisions to keep improving
  • Relevant technical certifications
