Proficient in technical writing and XML with a strong grasp of ASD-S1000D.
Able to interpret complex engineering data and manage CSDB environments.

Originate data conforming to ASD-S1000D and manage data in a CSDB environment.
Review 3D CAD data and convert it into high-quality data modules.

Roles and Responsibilities

Technical Author (MEWSIC)
The Author shall be required to originate data that conforms to ASD-S1000D Issue 4.1. The Author must be conversant with XML and XML editing tools. The Author will be required to review 3D CAD data and read 2D Engineering Drawings and convert this data into high-quality Data Modules. The Author will be expected to understand the DMRL and manage the SNS to originate the data. The Author must be conversant with managing data in a CSDB environment.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Strong Technical Writing Skills
Proficiency in XML
Understanding/working knowledge of ASD-S1000D
Ability to interpret complex Engineering Data
Understanding mechanical or electronic designs (3D & 2D CAD)
