We're looking for a Technical Assistant to join us on our continuous journey of true nourishment in our Acton Central production unit. You will have at least 2 years in food production and/or manufacturing.
Purpose
- Support the technical department with daily administration and maintenance of all technical and compliance related data.
- Support the site technical manager and all site functions in maintaining all technical site systems.
- Support technical and site teams with technical related functions.
- Enhance supplier quality performance thus supporting the integrity of the Wagamama brand.
Key Accountabilities
- Delivering the required food safety and food quality standards befitting of our brand.
- Conduct and report daily tasting panels and results.
- Carrying out the required internal audits according to predetermined schedules.
- Identifying and investigating the root cause for any non-conformances and complaints.
- Ensuring daily compliance with quality management system.
- Monitor, police and enhance supplier quality performance.
- Support on training programs, health and safety and food safety practices at CPU and warehouse.
- Quality control of ingredients into CPU and warehouse.
- Maintaining the relationship with 3rd party laboratories and service providers.
Essential
- Level 3 food safety/HACCP.
- Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Basic food hygiene.
- Ability to solve/offer solutions.
- Good team player.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 2 year experience working in a similar role in the food industry.
- Willingness to be flexible with working hours.

- Internal auditor.
- Conversant with BRC accreditation.
