Technical Architect

Technical Architect with a solid background in software engineering plus key skills in designing and architecting Azure hosted microservices is sought by a hyper growth PaaS based in Birmingham.

Working at the forefront of B2C technology, this Technical Architect will play a lead role in re-platforming from a monolithic to microservices architecture, implementing DevOps best practice to automate deployment through CI/CD pipelines.

This role would suit a Technical Architect looking to move into a dynamic, fast-paced environment with excellent autonomy to help shape the technical output of a market leader as they enter their next phase of business growth.

This Technical Architect based near Birmingham should have most of the following key skills:

1. Proven experience re-architecting a monolithic to microservices architecture
2. Solid software engineering skills - Python, Node.js, React.js etc
3. Solid containerisation skills - Docker, Kubernetes etc
4. Strong CI/CD pipeline creation - Jenkins, Gitlab, Azure DevOps etc
5. IaC exposure ideally using Terraform
6. Strong general Azure skills
7. Legacy exposure to PHP/Laravel would be useful
8. Experience building and deploying cloud-based products
9. A delivery-focused, mission-driven personality who is comfortable driving innovation

This Technical Architect based near Birmingham will receive:
