Statutory Reporting Lead
3 Days a Week Onsite

Skills: Statutory Reporting, Audit, Documentation

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee and manage the statutory reporting process for our client. You will lead the project in the preparation, review and filing of statutory audit work, including getting audit signoff. This role will ensure accurate, well-documented financial reports, work with Auditors, drive knowledge transfer, and support Statutory Reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Statutory Reporting Management & Compliance
    Oversee the statutory reporting process for all Group entities, ensuring timely preparation, review, and submission of financial reports.
    Collaborate with auditors to resolve any issues before filing, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Knowledge Transfer
    Document and understand all key responsibilities currently managed by the Finance Manager - Corporate, facilitating a seamless transition before their departure.
    Provide structured handover materials and guidance to the incoming hire to ensure continuity in operations.
  3. Financial Review & Support
    Support retail and non-retail group activities by reviewing financial reports, journal entries, trial balances, and monthly reporting commentary to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  4. Mentorship & Team Development
    Provide mentoring and coaching to the Controlling Corporate team, fostering knowledge-sharing and continuous professional development.
