Position: Principal or Lead Tech Safety Engineer


Company: Our client is a leading Aberdeen energies EPC.


Responsibilities:

  1. Competent in all aspects of UK regulatory requirements and UK good practice engineering, including use of UK, European and international design codes.
  2. Proficient in management and review of all technical safety studies related to topsides, subsea, wells & FPSOs.
  3. Development of risk-based arguments to support the demonstration of ALARP within both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  4. Emergency response strategies and development of offshore/onshore emergency response plans.
  5. Competent in all aspects of hazard identification, HAZOP Chairing, and trained to IChemE Standards for major accident hazard/event identification and development of hazard management strategies.

Qualifications:

  1. Ideally applicants will be qualified chemical engineers.
  2. Essential that you are UK citizens free of any visa restrictions.
