Tech Lead up to £80,000 Stockport, Hybrid

Pearson Carter are currently working with a global wellness brand who are focused on offering safe, effective and premium hemp-derived CBD products as well as additional supplements such as vitamins and minerals.

Responsibilities:

• Own and enforce code review standards to ensure exceptional quality and security.
• Implement and refine linting, tooling, and static analysis (e.g., ESLint, Stylelint, Prettier).
• Ensure best practices in e2e testing and overall test coverage.
• Unify development teams by standardizing workflows and coding practices.
• Advocate for cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align development goals with business needs.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment strategies.
• Improve developer tooling to streamline workflows.
• Optimize version control and branching strategies across teams.

Experience:

• Proven experience in a senior development or technical leadership role.
• Strong technical experience with PHP, WordPress, WooCommerce, Node.js.
• Deep expertise in linting tools (ESLint, Stylelint, etc.), testing frameworks, and code review best practices.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and workflow automation.
• Experience working in multi-team environments, aligning developers towards a common goal.
• Knowledge of modern development practices, security principles, and performance optimization.

Salary: They offer an excellent salary package: up to £80,000 with good benefits such as potential shares in the company.

Location: The client is based in Stockport and they are looking for someone to be in office once per week in Stockport.
