This role has a starting salary of £52,047 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.

We are excited to be hiring a new TECH Development Lead to join our fantastic Connected Care (TECH) team. The team operates countywide accessing all of Surrey County Council's offices.

About the Team
The TECH Team is a small but vibrant team, sitting within the Commissioning team in our Adults, Wellbeing and Health Partnerships (AWHP) directorate. We work alongside our colleagues in frontline teams to support with technological solutions to meet Care Act outcomes. Our ethos is to inspire, encourage, motivate and support social care staff to explore the use of technology as an enabler to complement clients' traditional support.
About the Role
As the Tech Development Lead, you will lead and support the transformation programme alongside the Senior Managers and Head of Service. You will take a proactive approach towards improving and integrating technology within Adult Social Care practice, including the development of practice guidance, tools, and training for frontline workers. You will be driven and focused on changing and designing new systems, as well as maximizing the resources currently available to ensure technology is used as an enabler. You will stay up to date with legislation influencing practice and work with colleagues to ensure standards are met accordingly.
In this role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships and ensuring that co-production is central to the TECH team's strategy. You will line manage a team, leading by example and promoting strong leadership skills and innovative, autonomous working. Additionally, you will contract manage current pilots, facilitating meetings with partner agencies, tracking benefits, and key performance indicators. Finally, you will also work with the Senior Commissioning Manager to ensure good value for money and quality of service, completing benefits evaluations, including cost avoidance and cost savings models.
