What you will do:

1. Lead and manage a team comprising social workers and leaving care personal advisers, providing supervision and support for up to five practitioners.
2. Be a part of the leadership team contributing to a learning culture and leading through change.
3. Develop and oversee care plans to ensure the permanency and progression of children into independence.
4. Provide high-quality interventions and support that focus on the safety and independence of care leavers.
5. Manage performance effectively, guiding and supporting staff in their professional development.
6. Participate in duty work as required and ensure statutory frameworks and court processes are effectively adhered to.
7. Collaborate with local organisations and businesses to enhance support for young people.
