This role has a starting salary of £60,033 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.

This is a permanent, full time opportunity.

About the Team

We are part of Surrey County Council's Countywide Learning Disability & Autism service, supporting residents across West Surrey within the Adults, Wellbeing and Health Partnerships directorate. Our team empowers individuals with learning disabilities and autism to lead fulfilling, independent lives by collaborating with health and social care partners, families, and communities. We have achieved significant improvements in outcomes and remain dedicated to driving positive change. About the Role

As a Team Manager, you will lead a dynamic and dedicated team delivering high-quality adult social care services to the local community. You will be part of a wider management team, ensuring CQC compliance and upholding the values of the Surrey Way, driving excellence in care and support.

In this role, you will champion a customer-focused, high-quality approach, ensuring frontline services make a real difference in people's lives. You'll provide strong leadership, manage resources effectively, and implement measures for risk management and business continuity. Building meaningful partnerships with external agencies and service providers, you will also play a key role in shaping service improvements and driving innovation in adult social care. Shortlisting Criteria

To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:

  • Social work, occupational therapy or other relevant professional qualification is essential for this role.
  • Experience of successful management of staff, including managing performance and development while successfully addressing conduct, attendance, and performance capability issues.
  • Skill in managing budgets, with substantial experience of managing the delivery and improvement of social care.
  • Sound understanding of personalisation and strengths-based assessments will also be vital.
  • Significant knowledge and/or experience of health and social care
  • Direct experience of delivering adult social care services and a comprehensive and applied knowledge of adult social care legislation.
