Location: National Theatre

Reporting to: Duty Manager

Working closely with: CSAs, Kerb Plus, Kerb Counter, Kitchen Teams

We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join The Summer Activation—our buzzing outdoor space on the South Bank. With lively bars, popular street food, and ice cream, it’s the go-to spot for summer vibes! If you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment where performance takes centre stage, we’d love to hear from you!

About Us:

Theatre Food & Drink is a collaboration between the National Theatre, Levy UK&I, and KERB, delivering world-class hospitality that aligns with the NT’s values and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and inspire a team of up to 10 CSAs.
  2. Maintain equipment and report any issues.
  3. Manage stock rotation, wastage, and monthly stock takes.
  4. Support CSAs with customer and operational concerns.
  5. Maintain security vigilance and adhere to See, Care, Share guidelines.
  6. Ensure awareness of promotions, events, and bespoke requests.
  7. Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards.
  8. Conduct daily briefings and training where needed.
  9. Adhere to Compass/Levy policies and procedures.

Person Specification:

  1. Experience in a similar leadership role.
  2. Strong under-pressure performance with a professional and approachable manner.
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  4. Knowledge of COSHH and EPOS/procurement systems (desirable).
  5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  6. Confidence in being YOU! Let your personality shine!
