An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader Radiotherapy Radiographer to join our team. The Trust is delighted to invite applications from enthusiastic, forward-thinking radiographers with a keen interest in delivering radiotherapy services and a passion for team working and service development.
The Royal Surrey Cancer Centre is focused on providing excellent patient pathways and patient-centred care. We strive to continuously evolve to reflect the technical advances within Radiotherapy.
As a team leader radiotherapy radiographer, you will be under the supervision of the appropriate Operational Manager preparing and delivering radiotherapy using highly specialist equipment. You will regularly participate in all aspects of radiotherapy activities and your role will focus on the management of your area of expertise. As a key element of the role, you will provide information, education, practical and emotional support to patients and carers during their radiotherapy episode. There may be the opportunity to participate in a rotational role within clinical governance, education or treatment co-ordination.
Royal Surrey is a compassionate and collaborative acute and community Trust. Recognising that our 5000 colleagues are our greatest strength, we offer a comprehensive health and wellbeing program along with a commitment to developing and advancing your career.
We are clinically led and provide joined up care by bridging the gap between hospital and community services alongside regional specialist cancer care.
Your wellbeing is important to us, and as such, we offer clinical staff a 9-day fortnight working pattern giving you the opportunity to have a fixed day off every two weeks. You will, no matter what your grade banding, be empowered to learn, grow and progress your career.
