RE Recruitment are looking for a Team Leader to join an established business in Stonehouse. The company is a nationwide supplier of food produce and due to site production are looking for an additional Team Leader to join the team. The primary role of the Team Leader will be the management and control of all staff on site, coordinating materials, planning production lines, and managing changeovers, maximizing the shift and site's potential.
The Role:
Operation & maintenance of production line machines
Looking after a team of 5-20 per shift, reporting to the production manager, leading and training a team to increase/maintain effectiveness of the site
Assist in food hygiene and standard compliance policies – GMP, ISO, HACCP, Allergen control, environment checks, food safety auditing, and QMS
Monitor plant efficiency, work alongside an engineering team to ensure output targets
The Person:
Ability to complete maintenance tasks and production line changeovers
Proven experience of managing a team
Experience in food manufacturing
Ability to coach, mentor and develop a team of machine operatives & production operatives with a range of skill sets
Working hours: 6am – 6pm, Tuesday – Friday Weekly
