Salary: £15/hour + Overtime

Working Hours: Mon-Saturday (5 days a week - double day shifts - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)

About the Role:

Our client is a food manufacturer looking to bring in a new factory team lead to act as a link between the supervisor and the production team. This is an opportunity to join a successful and growing industry with a company that prioritises their staff and quality.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Day to day control and management of the team
• Managing Safety, Hygiene, Quality, Quantity, Compliance and Cost Responsibilities
• Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Fire regulations
• Driving KPIs, Limiting Wastage and Downtime
• Ensuring the team is fully trained
• Escalating breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to production

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a food production environment
• Experience of leading a team
• Knowledge of HACCP, Hygiene, Health and Safety & Allergens are beneficial
• Good communication skills - written and oral
