An exciting opportunity has arisen on a fixed term basis to join a forward-thinking team in East Midlands Shared Services as a Payroll & HR Admin Team Leader.
We provide transactional Payroll and HR Administration services to Nottingham City Council and Leicestershire County Council.
The successful applicant will be working in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment where accuracy is key.
The Team Leader is operationally responsible for the day-to-day management of a busy payroll and HR admin team, delivering a payroll service to Leicestershire County Council and the Leicestershire Local Government Pension Scheme, as well as smaller organisations, all with different requirements and deadlines.
Working closely with the Business Partners and the Service Delivery Managers, you will be responsible for managing and supporting your team effectively, looking for improvements and providing clear instructions and processes.
Analysis of workloads is required and collaborative working with other team leaders across the service to ensure that resources are deployed to best effect across all teams. It involves monitoring team performance providing coaching, guidance and development to team members empowering them to deliver.
